Suraj Sejuwal hails from Jumla, Nepal the birthplace of the Nepali language and a cradle of Nepali culture with remarkable historical significance.
An accomplished legal scholar, Suraj holds an LL.M. in International and Commercial Law and is currently pursuing a PhD in Law from the Faculty of Law, Tribhuvan University. His academic pursuits reflect a deep commitment to justice and legal expertise.
Since 2005, Suraj has dedicated himself to the student movement, championing the rights and aspirations of Nepal's youth. As the spokesperson of the Nepal Students' Union the nation's largest student organization he stands at the forefront of the fight for democratic values and educational reform.
Leading a federation of over 130 Free Students Unions, the organization has played pivotal roles in every major political transformation in Nepal, from the people's movements to the establishment of the Republic. Through persistent advocacy and grassroots mobilization, Suraj and his colleagues continue working toward a future where quality education becomes accessible to all, igniting hope and tangible change for generations to come.
